EGE Haina inaugurates Dominican Republic’s first large-scale hybrid renewable project with solar, wind and storage plants

EGE Haina has inaugurated the Esperanza Renovable hybrid complex in the Dominican Republic, combining 150 MW of solar and 49.5 MW of wind capacity. The project, representing an investment of about US$246.5 million, is expected to generate roughly 485,000 MWh annually and is the country’s first large-scale hybrid renewable facility connected to storage plants.
