Mexico’s Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) will serve as Country Host of the inaugural Industrial Transformation Accelerator for Latin America and the Caribbean (ITA-LAC), July 8–9 in Mexico City.
Mexico is one of the countries selected by the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) to develop an investment plan backed by up to US$250 million in concessional finance under the CIF Industry Decarbonization Program. SHCP is leading that work in coordination with the World Bank Group and the IDB Group, shaping investment priorities across industrial transition, clean technology, and supporting infrastructure.
ITA-LAC convenes governments, industrial leaders, financiers, technology providers, and infrastructure developers to engage with the practical realities of industrial transformation and long-term regional competitiveness.
