Elecaustro is set to begin operations of a 0.5 MW solar plant in Huascachaca, Ecuador, in June, designed to fully supply the electricity needs of its wind farm complex for self-consumption. The project, now nearing completion, supports the company’s decarbonization strategy and is expected to significantly reduce fuel use.
