Chile’s Ministry of Energy and Energy Sustainability Agency have launched the Rural Solar Water tender to install 34 grid-connected solar PV systems in rural water services across three macro-zones. The program aims to reduce electricity costs, improve water supply stability, and promote energy efficiency in high-solar regions like Atacama, with funding from the Sustainable Productive Development Program.
