Engie Brasil launches full operations at 753 MW Assu Sol solar complex in Rio Grande do Norte

Engie Brasil Energia SA has begun full operation of the 753 MWac/895 MWp Assu Sol solar complex in Rio Grande do Norte, following an investment of around US$640 million. The plant, featuring over 1.5 million PV modules, will generate enough clean electricity to supply a city of roughly 850,000 people, adding to Engie Brasil’s 12.5 GW portfolio of hydro, solar, wind, and biomass capacity.
