Engie Energia Chile has received environmental approval for its 171.6 MW El Rosal wind project in the Biobio region. The farm, featuring 26 turbines of 6.6 MW each and a battery storage system, is expected to generate around 405 GWh annually and will connect to Engie’s existing substation, with an estimated investment of US$230 million.
