Casa dos Ventos has started commercial operations at its 100 MW Babilônia Sul solar complex in Bahia, Brazil, marking a major addition to the country’s utility-scale solar capacity. The project represents an investment of roughly US$95–100 million and is expected to generate about 239 GWh of electricity per year, supplying clean power to thousands of homes. The solar park supports Brazil’s broader strategy to expand renewable energy under the Novo PAC infrastructure program.
