Microsoft has partnered with Powertrust to support the development of 270 MW of solar energy in Mexico and Brazil over the next four years through the purchase of renewable energy certificates. The projects include social impact initiatives, providing electricity savings, job creation, and training for local communities, while strengthening education, health, and infrastructure in areas with limited access to clean energy. This collaboration aligns with Microsoft’s carbon-negative goal by 2030.
