Project InnerSpace launches GeoMap South America to uncover geothermal potential

Project InnerSpace has unveiled GeoMap™ South America, a free exploration platform revealing the continent’s vast untapped geothermal resources — among the highest heat flow zones globally. The tool integrates millions of surface and subsurface data points, identifying major geothermal opportunities across the Andes for power generation, mining, and urban heating. Highlights include an estimated 1,200 GW in Argentina, 400 GW in Peru, 300 GW in Colombia, 200 GW in Chile, and over 2,000 GW in Brazil. Petrobras partnered with Project InnerSpace to accelerate data integration from its onshore wells, expanding the platform’s accuracy and scope.
