The Inter-American Development Bank Group and the World Bank Group will serve as Co-Hosts of the inaugural ITA-LAC, the Industrial Transformation Accelerator for Latin America & the Caribbean, taking place July 8–9, 2026 in Mexico City.
Development finance institutions are central to how industrial transformation gets financed, structured, and executed across the region. Through initiatives such as the CIF Industry Decarbonization Program, the IDB Group and World Bank Group are already supporting low-carbon industrial development, clean technology deployment, and industrial modernization across LAC.
