Cuba adds 65.6 MW with three new solar parks as part of 2025 renewable energy plan

Cuba has inaugurated three new solar parks—Hoyo Colorado, Mal Tiempo, and La Carolina—each with 21.87 MW of installed capacity, adding a total of 65.6 MW to the national grid. These are part of a broader 2025 plan to build 55 solar parks, 12 of which are now operational, contributing 261.6 MW to the National Electricity System.
