Central Puerto and YPF Luz are partnering on a high-voltage transmission project to support mining operations in Argentina’s Puna region, with an investment of $250 to $400 million. The project includes a 140 to 350-kilometre transmission line to deliver sustainable, clean energy to mining sites and surrounding communities. It also aims to integrate key regions into Argentina’s national grid, addressing energy supply challenges with a focus on sustainability and regulatory feasibility.
