35MWp solar park in Honduras ready to enter into commission

The Solar Pacific plant, a 35MWp solar PV installation in Nacaome, Honduras has undergone its final testing and is now ready to enter into commission.

Enertiva and the Ortiz Group, through its subsidiary Ortiz Energía Honduras, have led the project in a joint partnership. This is their third collaborative project, alongside Independence Plant in El Salvador and Marcovia Plant in Honduras.

Enertiva is a leader in solar energy solutions with a strong presence in Central America. Ortiz Energía is EPC contractor which carries out renewable energy projects.

This project has generated over 95 direct jobs though sub-contracts during the period of construction, connection of cables and final testing phase.

The solar plant is made of over 98 000 panels, with 6 inversion hubs, real-time monitoring of the plant and other advanced technologies.
