1,41MW solar PV project enters into operation in Honduras

Enertiva has finalised the installation of two roof solar panel systems producing electricity for self-consumption for the Honduran Lady Lee Corporation.

Lady Lee is one of the largest developers of shopping centres in Honduras, with a presence in other Central American countries. Enertiva also operates in the wider Central American region, with projects in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama and Nicaragua.

These solar energy systems which represent Phase II of the FV project for the Lady Lee, were installed in the Shopping Centre Megaplaza, and their Distribution Centre.

The project was financed though a PPA, which allowed Lady Lee to install and make use of solar energy with no initial investment.
