111 green hydrogen projects underway in Brazil with US$82 billion in investments, requiring 90 GW of renewable capacity

According to the consulting firm CELA, there are 111 ongoing green hydrogen and its derivative projects across 15 states in Brazil, totaling investments of approximately US$82 billion. These projects, which include green hydrogen, ammonia, e-methanol, and green steel, will require around 90 GW of new renewable energy capacity for fuel production.
