Vestas to enter Panama’s renewable market

Vestas, the Spanish wind turbine company, will supply equipment to the 66 MW Toabré wind park, owned by Elecnor. The country is increasingly investing in the renewables sector as it has a goal to produce half of its electricity from renewables by 2050. Vestas is present in over 79 different countries and this order highlights how rapidly the wind energy market growing in developing countries.
