Brazil’s Federal District State Education Secretariat has partnered with utility CEB to build a 10 MWp solar power plant, requiring an investment of US$7.3 million. Scheduled to begin construction by year-end, the plant is expected to generate 20 GWh annually—enough to power approximately 400 public schools, or 60% of the district’s total. Source: Renewables Now
