Jerry Christopher Butler is based in Washington, D.C., as the Alt. Executive Director for Caribbean Countries on the resident Board of Executive Directors of The Inter-American Development Bank, the oldest and largest regional development bank. The IADB is the largest source of public financing in Latin America and the Caribbean with over $100 billion in assets and a triple A rating. Mr. Butler’s private practice provides wealth management and business advisory services, specializing in identifying and executing Caribbean Project Investment opportunities in the Public and Private Sectors. He also provides strategic advisory services on policy and legislative initiatives throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. He is the Chairman of the Caribbean Renewable Energy Forum (CREF) www.newenergyevents.com/cref, the largest and longest-established Caribbean Event for renewable energy stakeholders. He also serves as Chairman of the Latin American Caribbean Council on Renewable Energy (LAC – ACORE) Advisory Board, Deputy Chairman of the Bahamas Securities Commission, Director of one of the largest Caribbean insurance companies, and was consultant to the World Bank Caribbean Entrepreneur (EPIC) SME Program. His professional experience in public accounting, wealth management and financial services spans over thirty years in New York, the Caribbean, and Europe. He is also a Licensed Realtor, Building Contractor, partners with a Licensed FCSP, and is a Certified IAAF Track and Field Sports Coach.
