New research center in Cuba will help promote renewable energy

 

A new research centre will be built in Las Tunas, Cuba to promote research, technology development, and build capacity for the renewable energy industry of the country.

 

The main objective of this research center – which will be part of the Centre of Studies of Energy Efficiency and Technological Progress – is to help promote and execute the development of renewable projects in the area, with a focus on solar, wind, and biomass. The project will be partly financed by the Foundation Cuomo of Monaco.
