The Inter-American Development Bank has awarded the government of the Dominican Republic a $200,000 grant to conduct a 12-month study of geothermal potential.
The “Specific Agreement to Evaluate the Geothermal Potential of the Dominican Republic” will examine whether there’s enough high geothermal energy to produce electricity.
