Governments of Mexico, Colombia, Honduras & U.S. Confirm Participation in CAMRIS

The organizers of the Central American Renewables Investment Summit (CAMRIS) are pleased to announce that the Governments of Mexico, Colombia and Honduras have confirmed their participation in the inaugural event taking place in Panama City, Panama, July 13-14. They complete a roster of regional governments which already comprises senior officials from Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Belize.

Mexico will be represented by José Bernardo Hernández Ávila, Deputy Director for Latin America & Caribbean in the Ministry of Energy, Colombia by Rogerio Ramírez, Director of Energy, Ministry of Energy & Mines, and Honduras by René Alfredo Soto Rivera, Director General of Energy in the Secretariat of Natural Resources & Environment.

Reflecting the U.S. Government’s ongoing initiative to support increased energy security in the region, we are also pleased to announce that Faith Corneille, the U.S. Department of State’s Senior Regional Advisor on Energy Affairs, has confirmed that she will participate as a speaker at CAMRIS.
