Geothermal Tests in Grenada Yield Positive Results

Geothermal surveys and testing in Grenada has yielded positive results.

The presence of a rock/clay cap indicates that there is likely to be hot water and steam underground that can be tapped for electricity generation. Additionally, water at the site was found to be non-corrosive, which means that it can be pipped to the Earth’s surface and back underground again.
