There are 10 days left to apply for funding under the Geothermal Development Facility for Latin America.
Launched on 15 January 2017 the period for submitting Expression of Interests runs out 28 February 2017.
The following countries are eligible for consideration within the Andean Region: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Perú. Within Central America, eligible countries are: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
The GDF will provide nonrecourse grants for early geothermal-exploration surface studies and contingency grants for exploration/confirmation drilling.
