Cuba shifts to solar with $45m OPEC loan

Cuba is getting an injection of $45m from OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) to improve access to renewable energy. The $45m loan will fund two solar PV plants in Eastern Cuba and solar powered water heaters for industrial and residential use.
