A member of AILAC, a coalition of developing nations committed to mitigating climate change and promoting sustainable development through lower carbon emissions, Colombia has taken a step forward by committing to green building. The new program, which will commence in June 2016, will result in a 15% reduction in water and energy use in commercial buildings and a 10% reduction in residential buildings. Read more here.
