Envision Energy Argentina inaugurated the Garcia del Rio wind farm in Buenos Aires—the first of four projects the Chinese company secured in the country as part of the government’s RenovAr renewable energy program. The 10MW park will be followed by Ventos del Secano and Cerro Alto, both 50MW, and the 75-MW Los Meandros. The park’s four turbines feature advanced technology for control, measurement and data collection.
