As momentum for CREF builds, we are pleased to announce that CREF – at two months out – features confirmed participation from 20 Caribbean countries. The turnout from regional governments and utilities is particularly strong and reflects the emphasis laid at CREF on addressing the critical issues around the commercialization and implementation of alternative sources of energy – including gas. Regional governments attending CREF will benefit from a series of private stakeholder meetings hosted by CARICOM, CDB, and other multilaterals taking place over the course of the event. Utilities are invited this year to participate, gratis, in the expanded full day Utility Leaders Workshop which will take place over the course of October 17th.
