Empresa Generadora de Electricidad Haina SA inaugurated a 49.5 MW wind park in the Dominican Republic.
The project, which cost 120 USD and took 18 months to construct, consists of 15 wind turbines. Each turbine has a 3.3 MW capacity. The plant will generate 200,000 Mwh of electricity each year, which will double the DR’s wind output.
