Mr. Giraldo is the Regional Commercial and Regulatory Director for Central America and Puerto Rico business units of The AES Corporation. Prior to her current role, Mr. Giraldo was the Commercial Director of AES´ Mexico business unit, and Commercial Director for Mexico, Central America and Caribbean business unit. He also served as Commercial Director for AES Colombia business unit. Mr. Giraldo joined AES in 2002 and held positions in several groups in the Company’s commercial organization. Mr. Giraldo obtained his Bachelor’s Degree as Industrial Engineer from la Universidad Catolica de Colombia and counts with Postgraduate in Corporate Finance and Risk Management from Colegio de Estudios Superiores en Administración-CESA in Colombia and a Executive MBA from IE Business School in Spain
