Christopher Johnson leads Blue Planet Energy as the Chief Operating Officer. He keeps the company on track to accomplish its mission to end the use of carbon-based fuels by making energy awareness delightful and clean energy accessible. He brings a deep background in science, hands-on experience in renewable energy, and extensive leadership in executive roles of startups. Johnson has led software teams, created open source platforms, and led social impact businesses. He has lived on five continents, speaks Spanish, and currently lives in San Francisco with his family. In his spare time, he likes to build LED projects and is passionate about soccer, cycling, and building community and healthy soil.
