Energy Specialist
Rebeca Doctors is an Energy Specialist at the World Bank, where she supports a range of energy-sector initiatives across Latin America and the Caribbean. She currently works with the Brazil and Mexico teams on industrial decarbonization, energy transition, and regional integration programs. Before joining the World Bank, Rebeca worked as a financial analyst specializing in renewable energy projects, with experience in the European and South African markets. Prior to that, she served as an energy-sector analyst at PSR, one of the leading electricity-sector consulting firms in Brazil and Latin America. Rebeca holds a degree in economics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. She also holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from École Polytechnique in France and a Master’s degree in Sustainability Management from HEC Paris in France.
