Lucia serves as Environmental Director at Ternium Mexico, where she oversees the company’s environmental performance, including regulatory compliance, environmental metrics, and the management of environmental investments.

She has more than 11 years of experience in the mining and steel industries and completed graduate studies at the Institute of Geophysics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She currently chairs the Sustainable Development Commission of the National Chamber of the Iron and Steel Industry (CANACERO), where she promotes initiatives to advance environmental best practices across the steel industry and works with stakeholders to support the sector’s environmental goals.
