Adrián Cuello Thomsen has more than a decade of experience in the banking sector, where he has developed strong expertise in financing solutions including sustainable finance, leasing, factoring, credit, and foreign trade.

Over the past four years, he has led the development and implementation of the sustainable finance strategy for Corporate and Government Banking. Since early 2025, Adrián has been responsible for BBVA Mexico’s cross-functional sustainability strategy, as well as sustainable finance for Corporate and Government Banking and Retail Banking. His responsibilities include sustainable business development, solutions and value propositions, as well as transaction structuring, helping advance one of BBVA Group’s global strategic priorities.

Adrián holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.
