Agenda
ITA-LAC 2026 moves industrial transformation from ambition to execution, anchored by the launch of the CIF Industry Decarbonization Program for Mexico and Brazil.
Day One | Enabling & Financing Industrial Transformation
Strategy, policy, and capital. Day One explores Mexico’s industrial transformation framework, hard-to-abate sector pathways across cement, steel, and chemicals, financing structures beyond CIF, and the conditions required to move projects toward bankability and scale. The day concludes with facilitated sector roundtables designed to feed directly into Day Two working sessions.
Day Two | From Strategy to Project Pipeline & Financial Close
Execution and implementation. Day Two opens with a CIF Application Clinic led by SHCP, the World Bank, and IDB, followed by facilitated working groups where project sponsors engage directly with CIF representatives, technical advisors, and financial structurers on project readiness, deal structuring, and next steps.
→ Participation in Day Two working sessions is intentionally limited to maintain a highly interactive working format among project sponsors, industrial operators, financial institutions, and implementation stakeholders. Qualified industrial companies and project sponsors receive priority access, while additional participation is subject to availability.
