Ms. Vanessa Salcedo has nearly a decade of experience as a professional geologist and environmental analyst. Ms. Salcedo has advanced academic specializations in aspects of preparation and evaluation of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs) in the extractive-resource sector. Her ESIA experience includes the evaluation of developer compliance with World Bank International Finance Corporation (IFC) performance standards. She is an expert in regulations governing environmental monitoring at local, regional, and national levels within Latin America. Ms. Salcedo has been a member of the Dewhurst Group since 2017 and is member of the GDF’s project office in Bogotá, Colombia, where she serves as the main contact point for all GDF applicants and grantees.
