The 8th Geothermal Congress for Latin America & the Caribbean (GEOLAC) went virtual for 2021, with an online program from September 8-10, 2021.
Co-hosted by New Energy Events, the Inter-American Development Bank, The World Bank and ESMAP, and comprising a full two days of Virtual Conference (September 8-9, 2021) followed by a Regional Government Geothermal Showcase (September 10), GEOLAC is the only gathering of the region’s leading geothermal stakeholders on the annual calendar.
After seven successful consecutive editions, GEOLAC returned for a fully virtual conference in 2021, bringing the market together in a creative and interactive environment.
We hosted three days of deep-dive discussions, Q&A’s with market leaders, live debates, interactive presentations, a virtual pavilion, and, of course, opportunities for networking with the region’s top influential leaders – all on a sophisticated online conference platform.
GEOLAC gathered senior government officials from Latin American and Caribbean countries, in addition to the multilateral lenders and the main private sector players active in geothermal across the region.
