Senior Energy Specialist
Megan Meyer is a Senior Energy Specialist in the Latin America and Caribbean team within the Energy Global Practice of the World Bank. Megan has been working on geothermal in the Caribbean since 2017, with a focus on risk mitigation projects for geothermal exploration drilling and renewable energy regulations. She also has extensive experience supporting World Bank client countries in the Caribbean, Brazil and SIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa to develop variable renewable energy and energy efficiency investments with private finance. Prior to her time with the Energy Global Practice, Megan worked in the World Bank’s Climate Change Group. Megan earned an M.A. with magna cum laude from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, with a focus on Energy and Environmental Economics.
