Lucía Samaniego Bisio graduated in Geology as an advanced student with a Masters in Geosciences at the University of the Republic, Uruguay. She is currently part of the staff of the Regional Center for Groundwater Management (CeReGAS). Within her training activities, she has taken several courses related to geothermal energy and is participating in a geothermal evaluation project in a city in Uruguay (coordinated by the Faculty of Sciences), as well as in a consultancy to establish a roadmap for the low enthalpy geothermal energy in the country.
