Julio Rojas is a social specialist in the IDB’s Environmental and Social Solutions Unit (ESG), working in the preparation and supervision of environmental and social compliance for IDB-financed projects. He has experience working in several LAC countries: Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile, Honduras, Nicaragua, Brazil, Guyana, among others. Before joining the IDB, he served as manager of Community Relations and Social Investment manager of the PERU LNG Project,  which was financed by IFC and IDB.

He has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, public consultation, indigenous people, involuntary resettlement and socio-environmental conflict resolution.
