As CEO of Geothermal Solutions, Inc, William Osborn is currently a geochemical consultant to 3PL Operating Company, conducting lithium exploration of Railroad Valley, Nevada evaporite deposit. In 2017, As VP Operations for Geolithic Corp., supervised lab-scale development of Molecularly Imprinted Polymers for extraction of lithium from geothermal and salar brines. As VP Operations for Geothermal Resource Group, commissioned and co-authored an updated resource assessment for the Salton Sea geothermal field. Before that, as VP Operations for AltaRock Energy Inc., managed proposal writing team awarded $44m by USDOE to conduct the Newberry Volcano EGS Demonstration, and was Operations Manager of the project through 18-month planning and permitting phase. He completed a Master of Science degree in Earth Sciences at U.C. Riverside.
