Dr. Warren T. Dewhurst is an accomplished scientist, engineer, and entrepreneur. He is an executive with over 45 years of experience in government, technology, and the energy sector. A graduate of the Colorado School of Mines and a registered professional engineer, Dewhurst has founded energy, technology and development companies in the United States, Europe, Russia, and Colombia. He founded Dewhurst Group, LLC to focus on geothermal energy. Dewhurst is also a member of the board of directors for the  Geothermal Resources Council. Together with Interlink Capital Strategies on the finance side, DG was competitively selected to serve as the Geothermal Project Fund Manager for the Geothermal Development Facility for Latin America (GDF). The GDF, the first climate mitigation fund sponsored by the European Union and KfW Bank, provides early stage risk mitigation funding to developers in eleven Latin American countries. DG’s wholly owned subsidiary in Bogota, Colombia serves as the GDF Project Office.
