Sandro Bruni is a Principal Developer working in Santiago de Chile and looking for new opportunities for ENEL in LA Region.

In the last 5 years, he developed greenfield projects (GEO, SOLAR, WIND) that have driven investment for more than 1 BUSD in Chile and negotiated/closed the acquisition of more than 2,5 GW of new renewable energy projects in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Peru. 

From 2013 to March 2015, he joined the Energy Division of Inter-American Development Bank working on the design of legal frameworks and risk mitigation funds to promote the expansion of geothermal technology in the Caribbean Islands, South and Central America Regions. 

Prior to joining the IDB, Bruni worked for Enel Green Power as an exploration geologist conducting pre-feasibility, feasibility, and assessment studies of geothermal fields in Chile, Peru, Nicaragua and Guatemala. 

He studied Geology in Pisa and has a Ph.D. in Earth Science from the Galileo Galilei PhD School.  In 2017, he concluded 2-year-long MBA at Bocconi University.
