Oscar Llamosa is a cross-disciplinary geologist with 10+ years’ international experience combining industry with research operations in several core topics such as oil and gas, energy transition markets, climate engineering, geospatial and environmental management. Oscar is the Communications Director at the Colombian Geothermal Association and he also supports two international capacity-building projects that look into how geothermal resources can be tapped in pushing energy transition: 1) UNESCO IGCP-636: Geothermal resources for the energy transition; 2) RIGS-CYTED: Iberoamerican network of shallow geothermal energy.
