Angela Alvarez is responsible for leading Ecopetrol’s renewable energy portfolio and developing new opportunities in the Energy Management. Angela is a Systems Engineer from the Antonio Nariño University in Neiva, graduated in 1998. She has a specialization in Energy Resources Management (2014) from the Autonomous University of Bucaramanga, a Master in Management
and Integral Process Control (2010) from the Santo Tomas University, and a specialization in Quality Management and Control from the University of Valencia – Spain (2008).  She has worked with Ecopetrol for approximately 11 years in the production area; Before her current position, she was the leader of Hydrocarbon Measurement. She worked for 10 years at Petrobras Colombia Limited, as leader of Hydrocarbon Measurement.
