Arndt is KfW’s energy sector lead for South America with a special focus on geothermal development and regional electricity integration. He is responsible for the Geothermal Development Facility (GDF), KfW’s cooperation with the Inter-American Development Bank in the energy sector and for energy projects in Argentina. He has previously worked on a variety of Geothermal, Wind, Solar PV, Hydro and Rural Electrification Projects across Eastern Africa and India. Arndt holds an MA in Political Science, Economics and International Law from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
