Mr. Szamosfalvi has specialized in fund management, and frontier market structured and trade finance with a focus on financial inclusion and renewable energy.  He has created, and successfully manages trade finance funds for under-banked, SME-market companies using a combination of innovative financial solutions and  technology for asset based lending and risk mitigation provided by export credit agencies or development financial institutions world-wide.  He manages the Geothermal Development Fund Latin America (www.gdflac.com), which is a $65million USD early-stage geothermal risk mitigation fund with the support of KfW and the EU.  Mr. Szamosfalvi has previously provided fair market value analyses and led or advised on mergers and acquisition projects in the manufacturing, geospatial intelligence and biofuels industries in the US and abroad.  A graduate of Brigham Young University (magna cum laude) with a double major in Economics and International Politics, Mr. Szamosfalvi has been an adjunct instructor at Georgetown University School of Business, including teaching MBA students from the University of Iceland School of Business.  He is CFA candidate, and a member the CFA Society New York.
