For more than 25 years, Chris Willott has provided sophisticated lending, project finance and project development counsel to a range of clients, including sponsors, borrowers, banks, multi-lateral institutions and export credit agencies with respect to the structuring, construction, supply and offtake, and financing of energy and infrastructure projects. He has a particular focus on renewable energy (including wind, solar, geothermal and hydro) and energy transition (including carbon sequestration) projects in Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States. Chris recently led Arnold & Porter’s team advising the Caribbean Development Bank and the CARICOM Development Fund on the project financing of Ormat’s 10MW geothermal project in Dominica –the first project financing of a geothermal project in the Caribbean.
