Professional with extensive experience in climate change, energy, and public policy, with a strong focus on climate adaptation, climate governance, and technical support for decision-making processes. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the design, implementation, and monitoring of complex policies and projects, working closely with public institutions, international organizations, and specialized technical stakeholders.
She has hands-on experience in energy projects, having participated in the Los Humeros III geothermal power plant project in multiple roles related to risk management, project management, construction, and contract administration. Through this involvement, she gained first-hand insight into key technical and operational challenges of geothermal generation, including steam parameter management, turbine performance constraints, operational costs, and technology-related warranty considerations.
She brings a combined technical and strategic perspective, linking in-depth knowledge of the energy sector with a solid understanding of international climate change frameworks, public policy implementation, and inter-institutional coordination. Her work is characterized by the ability to translate technical complexity into actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making and the development of robust, sustainable solutions.
