In 2018, Silvio took over his current position as CEO of Grupo Purdy and in 2022 became CEO of a new enterprise called CAVENDISH SA: a company focused on delivering renewable solutions with a focus on green hydrogen to decarbonize the economy.

Prior to his return to Costa Rica, Silvio spent 10 years in Switzerland, Israel, and England on a variety of commercial and managerial roles of increasing responsibility. He had the chance to work in over 60 countries around the world.

Alongside his professional life, Silvio enjoys teaching, specializing on Marketing, Consumer Behavior and International Business Development. He brings a fresh perspective, rooted on his experience leading iconic brands such as Toyota, Oreo, Milka, Kleenex, Huggies that built his business acumen.

Silvio is from Buenos Aires, Argentina and is currently living in San Jose with his wife, Clara, and one of his three sons, Ruben, while Alan and Carolina are in the United Kingdom.
