Chief Executive Officer
Jennar Jacob holds a BSc (Hons) in Accounting from St. Georges University, Grenada W.I., and has over eleven (11) years of exposure and experience in the Accounting and Financial field.
Ms. Jacob joined the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) as the Regulatory Accountant in the year 2020. In the last three (3) years she has developed a keen interest in having a holistic understanding and involvement in developing the path toward transforming Grenada’s Electricity Sector through the use of more Renewable Energy sources.
Ms. Jacob was actively involved in the development of the recently published Tariff Setting Methodology Regulations S.R.O. 20 in 2022 and continues the charge to have more dependable, sustainable, and reasonably priced electricity services in Grenada and the region by extension while protecting the interest of all the key stakeholders involved.
Ms. Jacob is currently the Acting Chief Executive Officer at the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission (PURC) in Grenada.
